    • Rebate capped at purchase price if below $500, sales tax not included, plus any installation costs
    • Rebate applicable to new EV charger purchases only

Residential Level II Charger Online Marketplace

Clark Public Utilities offers an online marketplace for the purchase of JuiceBox Level II chargers. Customers who use the marketplace receive the $500 utility rebate instantly, at the point of purchase. The online marketplace is only available to Clark Public Utilities customers and customers can purchase up to two chargers using the marketplace. Residential Level II Non-Connected Charger and Mobile Connector Rebate

  • $100 rebate for the purchase and installation of any Level II charger
  • $100 rebate for the purchase of a mobile connector plugged into a 240V socket
  • Maximum of two EV charger rebates per household
  • Not required to be Energy Star or connected to the internet
  • Rebate applicable to new EV charger purchases only (self-built Level II chargers do not qualify)
  • Note: Electrical permits are required for the installation of most Level II EV chargers, check with your local jurisdiction for requirements

Used EV Rebate (low income only/income qualified)

  • Up to a $2,000 rebate for the purchase and Clark County registration of a used EV. The rebate amount is ten percent of the used EV purchase price, or $1,000, whichever is greater.
  • Available only to limited income customers; income verification required
  • One rebate per household
  • Used EV must cost $20,000 or less
  • Applicable to only “light passenger vehicles” or larger as classified by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) legally permitted to drive on all public roadways including interstate freeways and weigh at least 2,000 pounds
  • Annual program budget is limited by Washington state statute and subject to close upon exhaustion; incentive funding is distributed on a first come first serve basis
  • The WA Department of Licensing EV registration must show the customer paid all state and local taxes based on the fair market value of the EV
  • The rebate is only available for purchased EV’s; vehicles won, received for no cost or received as a gift are not eligible for the program
  • Electric golf carts, electric utility vehicles (quads, side-by-sides, etc.), electric bikes, electric recreational ATV’s, and electric motorcycles are not eligible for the program
  • The intention of this program is to incentivize limited income customers to replace combustion passenger vehicles with all electric passenger vehicles

WA State Department of Commerce EV Incentive Program for Income Qualified Customers

  • Program details here
  • Provides point-of-sale incentives for the purchase or lease of new and used EVs
  • Eligible customers must be WA residents at or below 300% of the federal poverty household income levels
  • Applicable to full battery EVs only, plug-in hybrids do not qualify
  • The WA State incentive can be combined with the Clark Public Utilities Used EV rebate program
