About the Program
The Washington Families Clean Energy Credits Grant Program dedicates funding to assist low- and moderate-income households with the clean energy transition. This initiative offers bill credits to eligible residential households through their electric utility provider. The Washington State Department of Commerce, in collaboration with Promise, is offering one-time grants through the Clean Energy Credits for Washington Families Program. The program offers bill credits of $200 per household to eligible residential customers by September 15, 2024.
Clark Public Utilities is partnering with Commerce and Promise to pre-qualify households that have participated in an eligible program in the past to automatically receive the $200 credit. You may also receive a text message from the Washington State Department of Commerce or Promise to apply.
The application is quick and easy. You’ll need your electric utility account number, the number of people living in your household as of today, and the total gross annual income for 2023 (last year) for all adults in your household.
If your household is eligible to receive the credit, it will be applied to your Clark Public Utilities account by September 15, 2024.
