Knotweed Treatment

Now that volunteers have helped us locate the invasive knotweed, we need your help to eliminate it! You must be able to navigate over uneven terrain and through thick vegetation and be willing to inject plants with herbicide. Please note that this is a very physically demanding activity and may require walking in the stream and over steep terrain. Long sleeves and pants are required. Planting Leader Training

Do you have what it takes to be a leader? Clark Public Utilities StreamTeam will be training leaders to coordinate a group of planting volunteers during events. The team leader will demonstrate how to plant trees at our Make a Difference Day Celebration (October 26 or Earth Day Fest (April 18) while educating volunteers and fostering a safe and enjoyable environment. Overview Join us for the Race for Warmth to support Operation Warm Heart, a Clark Public Utilities customer-funded program to help limited-income families in crisis situations who need help paying their electric bills. Every dollar of your Race for Warmth registration goes directly to Operation Warm Heart.
