Enrolling in Clark Public Utilities' Green Lights program is a low cost way to demonstrate your commitment to environmental responsibility and support the development of clean, earth-friendly electricity. Green Lights is affordable and flexible. Start with as little or as much as you want. Businesses or individuals can enroll in Green Lights to match a small portion of their overall energy use, or opt all the way up to 100 percent or more. There's no time commitment and you can choose to stop monthly Green Lights participation at any time. You choose the number of 100 kilowatt-hour "blocks" of Green Lights you wish to purchase. One block of Green Lights is $1 per month. To reduce environmental impact and compensate for the total energy use of an average home is about $15, equal to 1,500 kWh.
