Come flex your muscles with the Clark Public Utilities StreamTeam!
We plant more than 50,000 native trees a year in order to restore habitat for salmon, reduce exotic invasive species and clean the water by reducing erosion.
We supply a great day of streamside planting, community camaraderie and environmental education. Volunteers clear ground, auger holes and plant more than 30 varieties of trees to help restore our watershed.
Make a difference while becoming more familiar with native plants and ideal planting techniques. Crew leader opportunities are also available.
The equipment, tools and light refreshments are provided. You will want to bring work and weather appropriate attire, gloves, and a reusable mug.
Potting activities are also great opportunities to get your hands dirty while learning how to propagate native plants. The StreamTeam pots native saplings in the spring in order to plant them in our restoration sites.
