– RFP for Washington State I-937 Compliant RECs Issued Today, Due Oct. 6 –
VANCOUVER, WA – Sept. 6, 2011 – In preparation for Washington State Initiative-937 renewable energy requirements, Clark Public Utilities has issued a request for proposals to providers of I-937 compliant renewable energy credits (RECs) with delivery beginning in 2012 and continuing through 2025. Respondents may submit a proposal on or before Oct. 6 at 11 a.m. PPT for one, several or all of the contract term dates.
Details of compliance requirements, including location, vintage and generation source are included in the RFP and supporting documents. Responses to the RFP must provide fixed unit pricing for I-937 compliant RECs.
Company information used to pre-qualify proposals is due Sept 19 at 11 a.m. PPT, prior to the Oct. 6 proposal due date. For companies demonstrating sufficient creditworthiness and performance capabilities, proposals will be then be evaluated on pricing offers and other relevant factors. Questions may be submitted to the RFP review team prior to the deadline and will be answered publicly online.
