CLARK PUBLIC UTILITIES RANKED HIGHEST IN SEGMENT FOR CUSTOMER SATISFACTION BY J.D. POWER
VANCOUVER, WA – Dec. 22, 2025 – J.D. Power recognized Clark Public Utilities as the highest-ranking utility in residential customer satisfaction among midsize electricity providers in the Western United States.
The J.D. Power 2025 U.S. Electric Utility Residential Customer Satisfaction StudySM measures customer satisfaction with residential electric utilities by examining eight key dimensions which cover all areas of utility operations: safety and reliability, problem resolution, ease, digital channels, people, cost, trust, and information provided. Surveyed customers rated Clark Public Utilities highest in six of the eight dimensions the study observed.
“Clark Public Utilities has ranked highest in customer satisfaction in our class in 17 of the 18 years we’ve been large enough to qualify for this study,” said Nancy Barnes, president of the Clark Public Utilities Board of Commissioners. “This study uses rigorous methods to survey customers of eligible utilities, so as a commissioner this ranking is a significant achievement and testament to the hard work and dedication of the employees working to keep the lights on in Clark County.”
J.D. Power designs and finances the study, a standardized measure of satisfaction available for the electric residential utility industry. More than 100,000 residential electric utility customers throughout the U.S. responded online to the study. Based on these responses, the study compared 152 electric utility brands, collectively serving over 109 million households.
“The results of this annual study are part of how we evaluate progress and identify ways to improve and increase the value we provide to customers every day,” said Lena Wittler, Clark Public Utilities CEO and General Manager.
The West region covers Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Texas, Washington, Wyoming, Nevada and Utah. Midsize utilities in the report serve between 100,000 and 499,999 residential customers.
