After thoughtful consideration of the many unknowns surrounding pandemic protocols, including mask and vaccine mandates related to large events, we’ve decided to cancel the 2022 Home & Garden Idea Fair. Given the unique model of our event (staffed solely by utility employees whose first priority is to make sure our customers have electricity and water) it’s the right decision to continue prioritizing the health and safety of all.
We will continue to monitor the public health requirements for large public events as our community continues to address this public health situation. We are hopeful about the future and look forward to hosting you and our event attendees in 2023.
A hallmark of the Clark Public Utilities Home & Garden Idea Fair is the annual food drive to support of the Clark County Food Bank and cash donations to Operation Warm Heart, a program providing home heating grants to families in financial crisis. During this challenging time, these organizations need our support more than ever. You can still have an impact by making a financial contribution online.

Every year hundreds of Clark Public Utilities employees volunteer at the Home & Garden Idea Fair. What started as a way to help utility customers make their homes more energy efficient has evolved into a full-scale home and garden show, and an annual tradition.
