The Stream Stewards program was created specifically for concerned citizens interested in local flora and fauna who are committed to bettering their community through action. The Stream Stewards program allows Clark County residents to learn about local environmental topics through professional level, skill based workshops. The Stewards receive hands on experience, the opportunity to interact with like-minded individuals and a chance to teach others. Upon completion of the workshops, Stewards understand what makes a healthy habitat, how societies affect habitat and have increased awareness of the critical components of a healthy environment.
