Project Clark Public Utilities Operations Center
Location: 8600 NE 117th Avenue, Vancouver
Description: This 2.2 kW photovoltaic installation feeds the utility operations center directly. It provides an example of the utility's hook-up requirements for customers interested in installing their own solar generators.

The array consists of two 1.1 kW photovoltaic arrays, mounted on stanchions. Photovoltaic panels are Sharp 140 and 70 watt modules. The inverter is an SMA Sunny Boy 2500 manufactured in Germany.

Customers can view the output of the array in real-time by visiting the installation. By turning on additional loads, customers will see the direct impact of resistance loads on the output of the array.
Completion date: May 2005
Annual production: Over 2600 kilowatt hours
