Project Energy Savings

Clark Public Utilities has partnered with the City of Vancouver and Clark County to provide a weatherization program for electrically heated homes in several target areas:

The program is funded through a mix of Washington State Legislature grant funds and Clark Public Utilities energy efficiency funds.

The first step is to have a Clark Public Utilities energy counselor provide you with a free analysis of your home energy use. The assessment will provide an energy consumption report and identify ways to save money and energy through approved measures for which your home may qualify.

Approved weatherization measures include: attic insulation, floor insulation, wall insulation and duct sealing.

Participant costs are 10% of the project cost and are capped at $500. The most a qualified customer would be responsible for is $500. Clark Public Utilities pays the balance of the project invoice.

Customers must have electric heat in their home to qualify and also must meet the income requirements.
