Refrigerators and freezers - rebates
We are continuing our ENERGY STAR® refrigerator / recycling program for 2011 and expanding it to include replacement freezers.
Residential customers who purchase an ENERGY STAR® qualifying refrigerator or freezer from a participating Clark County retailer will receive an instant $25 rebate at the register when the customer agrees to surrender their replaced appliance for recycle. The utility pays the cost of picking up and recycling your old refrigerator or freezer plus you get a $30 credit on your bill!
Recycling is done through our partner CFC Recycling. To receive the $30 bill credit you must contact CFC Recycling at 903-2231 or Clark Public Utilities customer service at 992-3000 to schedule pick-up of the replaced appliance.
