Rates, billing and payment information

Electric rates

Clark Public Utilities is a customer-owned utility. An elected board of commissioners sets rates for the Utility. Those rates are based on the cost to provide service. There is no profit built into our rates.

Clark Public Utilities classifies most commercial customers as "General Service Schedule 34."

Customers who have minimum demands of at least 1500 kilowatts are usually referred to as industrial customers and fall under rate schedule 85.

Electric rates were adjusted November 1, 2011.

Water rates

Clark Public Utilities water service territory covers mostly unincorporated portions of the county not served by city-owned water systems.

Water rates were adjusted February 1, 2012. Please click here to view the current rates.

Water is billed by cubic feet used. A cubic foot is about 7.5 gallons. The monthly basic service charge varies depending on the size of the meter.

Call (360) 992-3000 or e-mail us with any questions you have about these rate schedules.
