This 1.1 kW solar energy project, installed at La Center High School is tied directly into the electrical system. It will demonstrate the benefits and opportunities created by renewable energy technology and provide a powerful learning tool for both students and the community.
The project consists of a six-panel solar array. The panels are Sharp NE-170U1, 170 watt modules. The inverter is an SMA Sunny Boy 1800 with RS 485 communication card. |
