Kids' stuff

There is something for everyone at the Home & Garden Idea Fair... even for kids.

Some of the featured activities included Mad Science, a special exhibit that includes several tables full of science-related activities, such as brainteaser puzzles, hands-on exhibits and science equipment.

A full slate of animal-related activities was sponsored by the Southwest Washington Humane Society.

Edith House is a custom designed RV for kids to learn the importance of home fire safety.

Here are some of the other activities kids looked forward to:

• Make-a-button
• Plant-a-pepper
• Cheep food (making a pinecome birdfeeder)
• Sparky the Fire Dog
• Making a dinosaur terrarium
