The Clark
Public Utilities Home & Garden Idea Fair has become a community
tradition and we’re proud to include so many local businesses and
organizations that can help you make important decisions about
improving your home and garden.
In lieu of an admission charge, we encourage fairgoers to bring a can or two of food to donate to Clark County food banks or cash to donate to Operation Warm Heart, which provides aid to low-income customers who need help paying electricity bills.
The hours for the 2010 show are:
Friday, April 23: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Saturday, April 24: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Sunday, April 25: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
We provide a free shuttle bus from two Clark County transit stations that will take customers right to the front gate.
Recycle your compact fluorescent light bulbs in the collection container at any fair entrance. While supplies last, Clark Public Utilities will give you a voucher for a new CFL bulb for each one you recycle. You can redeem vouchers at the utility's booth in the Exhibition Hall.
Here’s just a sampling of things visitors saw at the 2009 fair:
