Energy–efficiency ideas was featured in a display built by New Tradition Homes. The “Energy Smart House” included:

• Energy efficient lighting
• Energy Star® rated appliances in the kitchen and utility room
• Tankless water heating and hybrid heating system
• Ductless heat-pump system
• Photovoltaic solar generating system

Fairgoers also had an opportunity to visit with Clark Public Utilities energy counselors, take an online home energy audit and learn about how to make your home more energy efficient.

Representatives from companies providing these energy effeciencies were available to share information about the products and services they have available to help you make smart energy decisions when building or remodeling your home.
